BBC Music Awards 2015

With a total of seven nominations for six of our labels in five different categories, it is fair to say that The Classical Shop’s labels are well represented.

Especially, though, in the Opera and Choral categories, with two nominations in each: Opera: Naïve with Handel’s Tamerlano (N1 5373) and Vivaldi’s L’incoronazione di Dario (N6 0553).

Choral: Works by Birtwistle with Roderick Williams, BBC Singers, and Nash Ensemble on Signum (SIG 368) and Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius and Sea pictures on Chandos (CHAN 5140).

The winners will be announced in the May 2015 issue of BBC Music Magazine.

Juno Awards 2015

Twelve of our albums are represented in the various Classical Music categories.

The 44th annual Canadian JUNO Awards will be broadcast on CTV from FirstOntario Centre on 15 March 2015.
