The Horenstein Ensemble wants to show the wide variety of chamber music and the interplay of the various instrument types such as strings, winds and harp exciting and varied programs. The members of the ensemble, all musicians of the Konzerthaus Orchestra Berlin, focus their attention on their interpretations for optimum sound and multi-layered colors, true to the saying of Leopold Stokowski: "Sound, good sound, is paramount" (sound, good sound, is the most important ).

The Horenstein Ensemble went in search of clues and promoted for his debut album all kinds of interesting, though, that should make you listen both the connoisseur and the lovers! Spread out in front of the listener hear a series of works of great diversity and unity, because the four works were written in a narrow time frame of less than 25 years and are also in tonal language, tone character (one is tempted to speak of a single "sound") and in their chamber musical gesture closely related. And yet each of these pieces has its own special "Eigenton" which will be read about in each newly balanced equilibrium of archaism and modernity. Also, each of the four works has its own specific occupation, which gives it its individual touch.
