""...Rameau’s ballet was first performed in 1748 and then performed more than 200 times at the Paris Opera. For this rendition, a great effort has been made to emulate the orchestral arrangement and instrumental combinations of that period.This is a solid, carefully concieved performance. There are two nice additions; a virtuosic harpsichord piece, ’La Daphne’... The performancehere is very fine. The other work is L’Impatience ... Sound is excellent."
