'Wild is a 'larger than life' pianist, one who can spin out a lyrical line and use romantic gestures without ever sounding self-conscious. His balance of excitement and control, and, indeed, his gorgeous sound, are a constant marvel.'

*****
i first came across this version many years ago when it was only available as two tape cassettes. Despite it being a less than perfect medium, I thoroughly enjoyed it and am now very pleased to find this version, albeit only MP3. To me it is sublime, a truly majestic performance that I don't think can be excelled.
