Geoffrey Tozer’s estimable performances, first issued separately in 1992 and now digitally remastered and repackaged as a 2-CD set, are faithful and reliable guides to these exciting and intricate works, played with love, enthusiasm and all requisite command; the recorded sound is excellent, too. They can safely be recommended to anyone looking to acquire Medtner’s complete concertos.
