This is the first Chandos multichannel recording Ive heard and its a beaut. Its a wonderfully spacious and detailed presentation that allows one to relax and just savour the music' with properly executed surround sound, you can have it both ways - atmosphere and clarity. The stereo SACD version sound quite pleasing too.
