The ever-dependable Bournemouth SO and Richard Hickox on fine form, and a well-balanced team of soloists… makes a far from trivial contribution to the Tippett canon.

Hickox’s interpretation is powerful, with the chorus in good voice and the recording vivid and well balanced.
