"...In his day, Guerrero was more famous than Victoria and Morales, but recent history has rather overlooked him. The Sixteen produce a pleasingly full-bodied sound throughout, in keeping with the vibrancy of Guerrero’s musical language, and this recording does much to champion a composer who deserves to be more widely heard."
