Whilst revues had been under sharp censorship in the period 1900-1908, under the Minister of Justice Alberi, they flourished. In the next decade, came revue performances from inter alia, Scala, Nørrebro Theatre and Tivoli, in every major city. The decade’s main characters include Carl Alstrup, Carl Fischer and Olga Svendsen. This series gives a detailed historical picture in sound and words of this national uniqueness.
