During the late-1920’s Victor wrote a book called Modern Ballroom Dancing, a manual which sold 100,000 copies in its first year. It went into more that 50 editions and total British sales exceeded one million. In Japan it sold three milion but as it turned out to be a pirated edition the author recieved nothing! Moving on to form his own dance school he found suitable records hard to come by so formed his own strict tempo dance orchestra and the rest is history! This brilliant album features the regular orchestra plus the wonderful backing sound of the Silver Strings. You will find it quite impossible not to tap your feet on everyone of these famous 26 tracks.
