For nearly 40 years the Luton Girls Choir was the best in the land and became such a household name that comedians delighted to make fun of it. Under their conductor, Arthur E. Davies, the girls - who were all aged between 12 and 23 - thrilled and delighted the whole country. Although disbanded in 1976, their splendid sound lives on, and here are several of the very best songs never before issued as a download.
