A new listening experience is truly what the chamber duo Michael Schäfer (piano) and Ilona Then-Bergh (violin) has to offer Genuin listeners. After their first complete recording of chamber music for violin by Ottorino Respighi, the two acutely sensitive performing artists are drawn once again to the fin de siècle, where such delightful works as the sonatas by Sylvio Lazzari and Volkmar Andreae originated.
