With orchestras such as Victor Young, Werner Muller, Dolf van der Linden, Andre Kostelanetz, George Melachrino, Ray Martin, Robert Farnon, Laurie Johnson and David Rose included in the line-up, you can be assured that "Stringin’ Along" is an accurate description of the exciting and tuneful melodies on offer. There are also some treats from lesser known - but equally talented - orchestras under the batons of Kermit Leslie, Guy Luypaerts, Alfonzo D’Artega, Eric Rogers, Emile Deltour, George Tzipine, Jackie Brown, Bernie Wayne, Richard Hayman, Frank Perkins and David Carroll to provide added zest and many pleasant surprises along the way. This is truly a feast of memorable performances, even if it could be the first time that you encounter some of the outstanding melodies - both bright and breezy and, on several occasions, romantic.

"...Plenty of vibrant vitality then in this issue. The transfers are good, the notes even better.
