 Gerhard Oppitz Soloist

Gerhard Oppitz is recognized as being one of the top pianists, performing all over the world. Even without much PR-hype he is much valued by experts and audience for the outstanding quality of his interpretations. Superior technical control, deep and thorough intellectual pervasion and sweeping musical realisation characterize his performance.

The current series of Schubert’s piano works is based on the longtime performing experience of Gerhard Oppitz with these compositions and the high quality approach resulting from this.

The ninth installment includes some Sonata fragments or similar movements often played together, dances and marches, the 6 German dances D820.
