"Hong Xu’s presentation of three Mozart Piano Sonatas and the Adagio in B minor is a worthy contribution to a rich catalog of recordings. Xu has a lovely touch: varies, sometimes light and fleeting, someties singing, sometimes penetrating but not heavy. His approach to tempo and rhythm is also commedable: just flexible enough to allow the music room to breath without becoming indulgent. This flexibility is also in evidence of his handling of dynamics: wonderfully fluid, not the stilted, terraced approach of many to this repertoire, but natural and assured... The performances here are consistenly of the highest quality - tasteful, informed, interesting."
