As Principal Conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra from 1967-1979, Bernard Haitink presided over some of the Orchestra’s most memorable and acclaimed performances. Live accounts of British music from the pens of Elgar and Britten, recorded at the Royal Albert and Royal Festival Halls, capture the fervour of this special relationship-one of the greatest in London’s musical history.
