Susan Hoeppner (flute), Judy Loman (harp) and friends bring us an exquisite collection of late romantic chamber music by the French composers Jolivet, Debussy, Roussel, and Ravel. Each work features Hoeppner’s rich flute sounds and Loman’s mastery on harp, but within a variety of larger instrumental groupings, from Debussy’s trio to Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro for septet. Joining Hoeppner and Loman on this CD are Joaquin Valdepeñas (clarinet), Erika Raum (violin), Annalee Patipatanakoon (violin), Steven Dann (viola), and Amanda Forsyth (cello).
