The world premiere recording of Rick Sowash’s "Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra". Featuring clarinetist David Drosinos, who describes the work: "Here is an abundance of lush, beautiful melodic lines, spiced with hints of jazz, folk, and a sort of outdoorsy feeling." The album also includes "Pastorale Variée for Clarinet, Harp, and String Orchestra" by Paul Ben-Haim, whose music blends Western European, Hebrew and Arabic musical traditions; and John Williams’s "Viktor’s Tale".
