Walter Zimmerman is still relatively little known but is a pioneer in new directions of music in Germany with a totally new approach to music that appears to envelop New Age philosophy but within the parameters of well constructed, fascinating and sometimes humorous (for example in  ’When I’m 84’) compositions. Ian Pace, specialist in the most complicated and challenging new music, is the ideal interpreter.
