 Magdalena Kaltcheva Soloist

After her debut album, “Sonatas”, the solo guitarist Magdalena Kaltcheva releases her long-awaited follow-up work, “Elogio de la Guitarra” by NCA (New Classical Adventure).

With great interpretations of works by Joaquín Rodrigo, Isaac Albéniz, Domenico Scarlatti and Mauro Giuliani, “the Bulgarian fairy” (Der Westen) has dedicated herself on this release to the great Spanish and Italian composers.

Since 2000, Kaltcheva, born in Sofia, Bulgaria, participated in various master classes and in addition to a series of concerts in Germany and Europe, she has won many first and second prizes at international competitions.

The young, gifted soloist has been awarded the LIONS CLUB-COLOGNE COLONIA scholarship for gifted students of the School of Music in Cologne.
“Elogio de la Guitarra” was recorded in the Jesus-Christus-Kirche, Berlin-Dahlem.
