  Trio Fortepiano Ensemble

The Austrian composer Adalbert Gyrowetz, born at Budweis and whose 250th birthday falls on February 19th 2013, counts as one of the (almost) forgotten “greats” of the Viennese classical period and has gone down in musical history as the author of an autobiography regarded as one of the most valuable contemporary documentations of the late 18th century.

This new album, released by NCA label, features four sonatas from Gyrowetz, interpreted by the Trio Fortepiano. This trio, Miriam Altmann (piano), Julia Huber (violin) und Anja Enderle (cello), gained outstanding reputation due to their “great skills, their sovereignty, musical commitment and charm” (Allgäuer Zeitung) and their “expressive tensity” (Concerto).
