 Dmitri Kitayenko Conductor

Conductor Dmitry Kitajenko’s Tchaikovsky cycle has been unanimously dubbed as ’The’ reference cycle by the press. This new recording of Symphony No 4 is the penultimate in this series. Mr Kitajenko and the orchestra’s next project resumes with Rachmaninoff.

"Kitajenko and the Gürzenich Orchestra turn in a really splendid account of Tchaikovsky’s Fourth Symphony, and they even manage to breathe new life into as familiar a warhorse as Capriccio Italien."  *****
