"...I do not have a lot to say about the performances of Shostakovich’s two trios, not because they are not commendable but because they are not commendable but because they are just very well-thought-out, coherent, committed interpretations. When I listened to them, I kept thinking that they are examples of how these works should be performed... Fine recorded sound with a nice blended ambiance encompasses all three instruments without losing the detail."
