Saint-Saëns: The Complete Organ Works, Volume 2 – Gerard Brooks plays the 1894 Cavaillé-Coll Organ of St Antoine, Paris

The first CD in this series (PRCD 872), from St Ouen in Rouen, was greeted with great acclaim. Gerard Brooks follows this with another fascinating release featuring the two sets of preludes and fugues, Seven Improvisations, and Three Rhapsodies in this very well-planned recital. The Cavaillé-Coll organ of St Antoine in Paris remains little heard. Gerard Brooks will complete his survey in France, the final volume to appear next year.
