All world premiere recordings of chamber works by Judith Bingham, a four-time winner at the British Composer Awards.

Performed by the internationally celebrated Chamber Domaine with the supremely talented Korean soprano Yeree Suh.

This album features a wide variety of chamber and solo works including one of Bingham’s most performed works - Chapman’s Pool for piano trio - and the extremely virtuosic setting for solo soprano of words by David Lyons, The Cathedral of Trees.

Also included is My Fathers Arms, commissioned by Chamber Domaine to mark the composer’s 50th birthday, which is a powerful and emotive response to the impact of war on children.

All the works were recorded in the presence of the composer.

A PDF format booklet in full colour is available and this includes an essay on Bigham’s chamber works by the renowned Messiaen scholar Nigel Simeone and an introduction to the music-specially written for this release by the composer.
