The marvellously flexible Bath Camerata is moulded with loving care and infinite attention to detail by Nigel Perrin, who seems almost to sculpt his singers around its manifest nuances and subtleties. To single out one item from a disc of such uniform excellence is invidious. Whether it’s the tiny splashes of colour in the Schoenberg...the intense and richly-textured Im Herbst by Braums, everything here is outstanding.
