Canticum
'Canticum' is a record label created with the purpose of disseminating and promoting music of Spanish creation, especially Contemporary Classical Music. The aim is to be a vehicle to promote music by Spanish authors and performers, mainly through the Internet with the intention of being a means of cultural creation more than an aim in itself as regards record edition. This record label's activity started thanks to the Sax-Ensemble Group, which has premiered more than 150 original works for its groupings and has also promoted numerous recording on radio, television, CD and DVD. Back in 1997 it was the first group to be awarded the National Music Award, the highest award from the Spanish government to the arts.
