He has also sung Max (Der Freischütz) at Staatsoper Hamburg and Bayerische Staatsoper, Don José (Carmen) at San Francisco Opera, Vienna Volksoper and Opera Australia, the Prince (Rusalka) at Opéra national de Paris–Bastille and Opera North, Laca (Jenu°fa) at English National Opera, King Arthur (Albeniz’s Merlin) at Teatro Real in Madrid, Bacchus (Ariadne auf Naxos) at New Israeli Opera and Mitch (André Previn’s A Streetcar Named Desire) at Opera Australia. In concert he has performed, among others, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra under Jir?í Be?lohlávek and at the Edinburgh International Festival with the Philharmonia Orchestra under Sir Charles Mackerras, Dvor?ák’s Requiem with the Bayerische Rundfunk Symphonieorchester under Mariss Jansons, Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde at Carnegie Hall with the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra under David Robertson, Janác?ek’s Glagolitic Mass with the London Symphony Orchestra under Michael Tilson Thomas and Stravinsky’s Oedipus Rex with the Boston Symphony Orchestra under Christoph von Dohnányi.
