The Siren Ensemble consists of ten young instrumental soloists and was specially formed for the production of Jonathan Dove’s operas Siren Song and Pig at the 2007 Amsterdam Grachtenfestival. All the members are established chamber musicians and/or prominent members of symphony orchestras in Europe. The majority of them have been featured as soloists at the Grachtenfestival in previous years and are prize winners at national competitions.
