Prophone is a high quality independent label focusing on jazz.

Since its inception in 1990, approx 75 albums have been released on the Prophone label. Excellent performances and beautiful sound distinguish the recordings. In audiophile circles, “Jazz at the Pawnshop” is considered the finest and most realistic live recording ever made.
