Priory is the leading producer in the U.K. of traditional choral and organ music. Established in 1980, the catalogue now extends to about 600 releases, which comprises of The Complete Psalms of David (sung to Anglican Chant), 21 volumes of settings of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis, many anthems and 23 volumes of hymns which comprise of The Complete Edition of the New English Hymnal. Priory's catalogue of church music is unparalleled both in the quality of the artists and in the diverse and vast selection of music .Most of the British Cathedral Choirs feature in the catalogue. Dame Gillian Weir, John Scott, Naji Hakim, David Briggs, Nicolas Kynaston, Stefan Engels, Gerard Brooks and Daniel Roth, as well as many other leading organists provide the backbone for a rich catalogue, much of which cannot be found elsewhere. Priory has always prided itself in the quality of its recordings and presentation. Several Editors Choices from The Gramophone Magazine have been received, as well as "CDs of the Month" from specialist magazines and awards from the "Music Retailers Association" for excellence. The company is often asked to provide audiofile recordings for equipment for the Hi-Fi trade. In 2001, Neil Collier its founder and Managing Director received a Certificate of Special Service from the Royal School of Church Music at a special service held in Rochester Cathedral.
